Currently Liu Hong is a Professor at Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts and she have taken the woman's femininity to convey her art language. This comes from wanting to capture the consumerism and changing moral values of the contemporary society, how these influences affect the survival instincts of women today. These aspects are captured through deliberate pursuit and overt sexualizing of the lips.
